successisnotanoption: My friend, Josh, tweeting this defense of David Lynch’s Dune led me to putting the DVD in my Netflix queue (I hadn’t seen all of it since around the time of its release) which subsequently led me to this, one of the most transcendent moments in cinema. Yes, that is Patrick Stewart — moments before diving into a battle which will shape the future of the entire known universe — cradling a pug in his arms. Chief among the many frustrating aspects of this famously problematic film is we never find out what happened to the pug. (And I can’t prove it, but I’m pretty sure that’s a young Ed O’Neill looming doofishly to Patrick’s right, and you can’t prove it isn’t.)

You’ll see just about every Star Wars character from the original trilogy in the image, as well as some visitors from Star Trek, Doctor Who, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Simpsons, Predator, Batman, The Wizard of Oz, Fallout, and many more besides. It’s a veritable Where’s Waldo Lando of Sci-Fi goodness. There’s a rumor that Waldo is in this image, maybe you can find him?

Let’s get this cyborg animal motorcycle warrior show on TV RIGHT NOW

If this quick synopsis for the CG animated series Tunnel Riders doesn’t sell you on the potential of this shows excellence, nothing will:

Things that are awesome in this trailer: First, the main character can control his bike with his thoughts thanks to the computer chip implanted into his brain. Second, the woodchuck creature can control robot spiders which he keeps inside his chest cavity. Oh right, and third, there’s a freaking talking cyborg lion who fights on a motorcycle.
